As a beer style, Imperial Stout has an old and interesting history.

First created by English master brewers for export, it reached the courts of the Russian tsars around 1800 (or even earlier, legend says), to the courts of the Russian tsars (Peter the Great being a great lover of Stout beers, hence its name). Zăganu Imperial Stout is a strong, dark craft beer, created with 6 different types of malt, 2 types of hops and matured for at least 45 days.
