Zăganu is a Romanian craft beer, produced 100% independently since 2013, in a small brewery at the foot of the Ciucaș Mountains, in the village of Măneciu-Ungureni. We chose to make beer differently: unfiltered, unpasteurized, without compromise, with natural ingredients and our own recipes.

The name comes from the bearded eagle (Zăganu) – a rare bird of the Carpathians, a symbol of freedom and courage. So is our beer: with character, authentic, Romanian.

Behind each bottle is a small but passionate team. We are not part of a large group. We do not follow trends. Zăganu remains a conscious choice – for those who appreciate true taste.
